Agitator Drivers We require multiple Casual HR licensed drivers to operate our Agitator Trucks to work out of Mandurah. Drive and Provide Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials Australia is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients, becoming the face of our business. You will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will be different theres nothing routine about this role! About The Role Most days will start between 4am and 6am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 5055 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates. We pay a base rate and once you go past your regular hours in one day the first two hours after that will be at time and a half. If you do more than 2 hours overtime in a day, it will be double time. Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift. As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you havent met before. We provide cutting edge technology to keep you safe while driving, and to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads. All new starters go through a 10day training program before you are allowed to drive on your own. About You Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred). You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when youre onsite. You prefer variety in your working life; no two days are ever the same when youre driving one of our Agi trucks. You take pride in the appearance of your truck keep it clean, wash it, and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck. Able to pass a preemployment medical, including a drug and alcohol test. Random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials Australia sites. Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may be required to be under a specified weight for these trucks.
