Employment Details Employment type: Full Time, Part Time and casual opportunities available Position classification: Dependent on qualifications Remuneration: $73,427.00 $113,226.00 per annum (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable) Hours per week: Up to 38 hours per week Requisition ID: REQ616329 Location: Griffith Community Mental Health Who We Are The Griffith Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol team is the second largest of six Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol teams across Murrumbidgee LHD. The team has approximately 15 multidisciplinary clinicians and a range of support staff providing Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug services across the life span from a site at Yambil Street. We work closely with MyStep and other community organisations to ensure people receive the right care for their needs. At a district level we have access to clinical leaders for Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug and other specialty services such as Aboriginal Mental Health, eating disorders and Perinatal Infant Mental Health. Responsibilities The Child and Adolescence Mental Health Clinician role involves the assessment, evidence-based treatment and case management of children and adolescents, who are referred to the service with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses. This can include behavioural disturbances and prodromal syndromes requiring early intervention. This position is based within a multidisciplinary community mental health team.
