About the opportunity Providing leadership in pastoral care for a designated group of students, ensuring their wellbeing aligns with the school''s mission and values. Supervising teachers involved in student pastoral care, offering guidance and support for effective practices. Facilitating the induction process for new teachers within your area of responsibility or overseeing their induction when handled by other experienced staff. Monitoring students'' holistic development, including academic performance, social interactions, spiritual growth and physical health, and addressing concerns through appropriate measures. Coordinating efforts among staff focused on student welfare, fostering teamwork and aligning activities with the school''s ethos. Managing student behaviour in line with the school''s behaviour management policies, promoting a safe and respectful environment. About you Proven ability to provide leadership in pastoral care, ensuring the wellbeing of students aligns with the school''s ethos and values. Strong capability to monitor students'' holistic development, addressing academic, social, spiritual and physical concerns as necessary. Knowledge of behaviour management practices to promote a safe and respectful learning environment. Experience in organising and overseeing pastoral activities such as camps, retreats or enrichment events, collaborating effectively with relevant personnel. Commitment to ongoing professional development, implementing best practices in student care and sharing insights with staff. Strong financial management skills, including budget planning and effective handling of material resources within your area of responsibility.
