You will be based in the above region but may be required to work in other locations subject to operational requirements. Positions & Candidate Criteria Ships Master Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience (sea time Must hold appropriate tickets/registration; otherwise will not be considered. Ships Engineer (Fishing) Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience (sea time Must hold appropriate tickets/registration; otherwise will not be considered. Master Fisher Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience (sea time Must hold appropriate tickets/registration; otherwise will not be considered. Ships Officer Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience (sea time Must hold appropriate tickets/registration; otherwise will not be considered. Fishing and Deckhands No less than 1 year''s Australian work experience, preferably in catching and handling crab; evidence required via seatime or log book. Verifiable letters of reference may also be acceptable. Seafood Processors Minimum 2 years experience as a seafood processor with verifiable references. Tasks include: Assist in unloading of fresh seafood product from vessels Move various seafood product to chillers, freezers and live tanks Sorting, dressing and filleting fish with a high recovery rate Sorting, cleaning and retrieving meat from shellfish and crustaceans Loading seafood products into trucks Packing boned and filleted seafood into cartons Inspecting and grading fish and shellfish for size and quality Packing fish and counting packs before freezing, and packing frozen fish blocks into cartons Operating machines which slice, peel, skin, crumb and package seafood product Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas Ensuring all workplace safety regulations are complied with Wages: between $68,800 and in excess of $78,000 per year plus superannuation guarantee for highly experienced industry workers. Salary Ranges Ships Master: $120,000.00 or greater, subject to negotiation Ships Engineer (Fishing): $72,000 to $82,000 Master Fisher: $75,000 to $82,000 Ships Officer: $72,000 to $82,000 Deck and Fishing Hands: $68,800 to over $78,000 All the above occupations are plus government regulated superannuation guarantee.
