Casual Venue Assistant Economic Development Casual Maryborough Operations Level 2 $34.22 + 25% casual loading = $42.77 per hour + superannuation At Fraser Coast Regional Council our people are our most important asset and central to achieving our purpose of Building Better Communities Together. What we are looking for: Join our team at Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park where you will maintain venues, support events, and deliver exceptional service in a dynamic outdoor environment! What your day will look like: Provide support in the planning and delivery of event logistics on-site including site preparation, setup and bumpin, community/contractor liaison and bumpout/deinstall. Conduct inspections of areas and facilities and complete relevant tasks related to the reinstatement of venue/site postevents. Undertake minor repairs and maintenance activities including, but not limited to cleaning of venue amenities, canteens, buildings, stables/yards and public areas; Assist in the delivery of venue maintenance schedules in conjunction with the Venue Operations Manager. Assist in the supervision of contractors in conjunction with the Venue Operations Manager What youll need for success: Willingness to work weekends and flexible rosters Demonstrated knowledge and experience in venue preparation.
