Uphold food quality, hygiene, and safety standards in line with regulatory requirements. Support daily kitchen operations including ordering, stock rotation, and food safety compliance. Work collaboratively in a busy team environment, reporting to the Executive Chef. Key Responsibilities Preparation and cooking of meals (including cold larder and special diets). Understanding and meeting patient dietary requirements. Ensuring food safety compliance (HACCP) and accurate record keeping. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and equipment. Assisting with stock management and ordering. What You Will Bring CertificateIII in Commercial Cookery (essential). Strong understanding of food hygiene and OH&S standards. Proven experience in hotels or cooktoorder, lacarte food style. Ability to manage highvolume workflows with strong organisational skills. Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills. Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
