Join to apply for the Master 24 Skipper role at Tassal Group Were seeking a skilled and reliable Skipper to join our team. If youre passionate about working on the water and have handson experience in commercial fishing or aquaculture, wed love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to skipper one of the most versatile vessels in our fleet. Key Responsibilities Operate vessels safely and efficiently in support of aquaculture operations Perform mooring maintenance, collar cleaning, and removal and replacement of fish nets Undertake heavy works activities as required at our sites across South East Tasmania Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards Requirements Master 24 & MED 2 (essential) Proven experience in commercial fishing or aquaculture Strong understanding of marine safety procedures Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in varying conditions Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Desirable Additional marine qualifications or tickets Experience with aquaculture infrastructure and equipment Why Join Us?
