The Operations directorate is responsible for the Commission''s investigations. The two business units, Investigations and Operations Support, work together to proactively identify and investigate allegations of serious misconduct, unexplained wealth and criminal benefits. The focus of the Commission''s investigations is on systemic and complex matters, many of which require the use of specialist capabilities. THE OPPORTUNITY The Covert Surveillance Technical Team Leader is responsible for the management and in-field leadership of the covert technical surveillance team and contributes to the planning and conduct of covert deployments. The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and appointment is conditional on satisfactory completion of a rigorous security clearance process. A relevant tertiary, industry or trade qualification (or equivalent industry experience) in fields such as electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, radio communications, information technology, rapid prototyping/machining and covert method of entry.
