This role requires travel to job sites across the area.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation of hardscape structures, including pavement sub-bases, concrete, stone features, shelters, street furniture, fitness equipment, irrigation systems, and playground installation including surface finishes and feature elementsInstallation of softscape elements including streetscape, industrial gardens basins, riparian corridors, and turf preparation.Assist the Team Leader with the management of machinery and landscape preparationOperate small plant and equipment to execute tasks efficiently and to the highest standard.Ensure worksites are clean, organised, and operating smoothlyStrictly follow safety regulations and statutory requirements, including Local Council and EPA guidelines.Lead and mentor Landscape Labourers and Apprentices, sharing expertise and fostering a skilled, motivated team.We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Landscaping or Horticulture, or 5 years of experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge of the construction industry and processesAbility to work autonomously with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward teamworkClear and effective communication skillsAbility to guide and support Landscape Labourers and Apprentices in day-to-day tasksStrong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality standardsProactive, with the ability to use initiativeConstruction White CardValid Driver''s Licence with flexibility to travel between job sitesRemuneration: Hourly rate - paid well above market andaligned with your experience + allowances + regular overtimeTools of the Trade: Fully maintained company vehicle + fuel cardWellbeing: Access to our Employee Assistance Program to support your mental health & wellbeingFinancial Incentives: Access to paid income protection insurance and earn up to $1,000 for every successful referral through our employee referral programUnlimited Paid Wet Weather Days: If weather conditions prevent work, youll still receive your base wage for 8 hours no limitCommunity Partnerships: Partnerships with community programs including Black Dog Institute and Sydney Childrens Hospitals Foundation to give back to our communityConnect & Celebrate: Frequent social and team events, site BBQs and reward and recognition programs that celebrates our peopleGrowth: Endless career opportunities, ongoing training, mentoring & developmentVisit this link to learn more about our culture at WEM Scape!Additional InformationApplicants should submit a current resumeApplicants are required to successfully complete a pre-employment medial assessment, including a drug and alcohol screening, as a prerequisite for this position to ensure they can safety perform the duties of the roleApplicants must be authorised to work in Australia, and reside in the geographic area relevant to the positionWEM Scape is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
