Team Leader Disability (New South Wales) Katoomba (Parttime) Join Kirinari Community Services as a Team Leader Disability in Katoomba, NSW. About the Position As a Team Leader, you will oversee the implementation of individualized supports within a supported independent living accommodation setting (SIL/Group Homes). You will strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure a personcentered and highquality culture within the program, provide direct support and lead your team across a range of customer needs including domestic & personal care assistance, and ensure operation of SILs, administrative functions and leadership/mentoring of Disability Support Workers. About You Previous experience 35 years in the Health Sector is highly regarded. Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor in Supported Employment or Day Program is preferable. Cert4 or higher in a related field. Demonstrated leadership/management experience. Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability. Resilience, confidence and ability to work independently and as a team. Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships. Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check, paid NSW and VIC Working with Children Check prior to commencement. Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs.
