Position Profile Promotes the health and wellbeing of children, families and specific community groups using a range of health promotion/education, health surveillance and early intervention strategies that are based on the principles of primary health care and service priorities. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have Possession of a family and child health postgraduate certificate or the equivalent. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of primary health care principles and the social determinants of health. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills including well developed written, verbal and group facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multicultural issues including indigenous populations.
