General Services Manager Arcare Aged Care Fulltime, Monday to Friday, 9am5pm. Salary: $33.33 - $34.17 per hour. Brandnew agedcare residence. About the Role This critical leadership position oversees nonclinical aspects including catering, cleaning, laundry and maintenance. The role contributes to residents quality of life and supports smooth operation of the residence. Your Key Responsibilities Manage catering and dining services, ensuring nutritious and balanced meals as per dietary requirements. Oversee cleaning and laundry teams to maintain hygienic standards above resident expectations. Supervise maintenance department, prioritizing requests and ensuring repair quality. Manage external contractors to meet legislative and contractual requirements. Ensure extra services align with Arcares offerings, resident/family expectations and contractual obligations. Develop and manage budgets for your remit, ensuring costeffectiveness. Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop nonclinical staff. Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all shifts. Handle shift change requests, leave, and find suitable replacements. Communicate effectively with staff about schedules, changes and updates. Skills & Experience Proven team management and leadership abilities. Experience rostering and allocating team members. Proficiency with scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target. Indepth understanding of the agedcare industry, regulations, compliance and best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problemsolving capabilities. Experience managing staff in agedcare or similar industry. Ready to Apply We invite you to apply.
