As Contracts Manager, you will have a heavy focus on street lighting. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships, to ensure regular and appropriate contact is maintained on issues related to contract administration and governance. You will support the negotiation and agreeance of commercial agreements, and ensure key stakeholders are well-informed about their rights and responsibilities. Key responsibilities include Working with all 27 Councils across Tasmania and TasNetworks Field Delivery team Designing and implementing effective contract management processes Managing contract risk through identification and mitigation of key risks, maintaining a comprehensive risk register for the revenue contract portfolio and implementing robust controls Create a contract management system internally to simplify the workflow related to contracts Provide coaching and to other internal team members on successful commercial practices About you To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience with progressively responsible roles that demonstrate quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration, or management, coupled with a bachelors degree in finance, law, business administration or a related field. You will have a proven track record of meeting project objectives within designated constraints, the ability to use initiative and interpret information to delivery effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be proficient in the use of digital tools, particularly SAP, Project, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite and obtain a working knowledge of contract management systems or software. As building and maintaining relationships is key to the success of this role, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
