Reporting to the Food Safety Quality & Compliance Manager, we are looking for a motivated Produce Quality Supervisor to join us on a full-time basis at our farm in Emerald, QLD. About the Role As the Produce Quality Supervisor, you will: Ensure citrus fruit is packed to meet target market specifications right fruit, right box, every time. Coordinate food safety and quality compliance in line with Costas Food Safety and Quality Management systems. Provide handson leadership and coaching to quality personnel and packhouse staff. Oversee daytoday food safety and quality compliance for packhouse and farming sites, including prerequisite programs. Maintain the Emerald Food Safety and Quality Management System to meet compliance requirements. Oversee compliance audits for food safety, quality, export, and interstate certification arrangements (ICA). Investigate and report food safety and quality incidents/near misses, and drive corrective actions. Support the National FSQ Manager in projects to improve food safety and quality culture, including new programs, software, and technology. Foster a safe and healthy workplace, supporting Costas WHS policies and participating in hazard identification and risk management. About You: Completed Principles and Applications of HACCP training. Competency with TACCP & VACCP programs. Food Safety Internal Auditor training. Relevant tertiary qualification in Science/Food Science highly regarded. At least 2 years experience in food safety and quality in the food/FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management/control systems and regulatory requirements. Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) Hold valid, full-time and ongoing work rights in Australia Why Join Costa?
