Due to an internal promotion, we''re looking for a dynamic and innovative Head of Middle School to join our College commencing in the 2026 school year, or as negotiated. This is a 5-year tenured senior leadership position, reporting directly to the Principal and is part of the executive leadership team. As Head of Middle School, you''ll be instrumental in driving the strategic direction of Pedare, ensuring our continued success and delivering the highest standard of education. You''ll work closely with leadership and staff, providing vision and fostering a supportive environment for the ongoing development and wellbeing of our Middle School students and dedicated staff. The Head of Middle School will: Provide strategic leadership in the priority areas of the current Strategic Plan Demonstrate a commitment to the Christian faith and the capacity to communicate that faith effectively to the College community both in word and action Support the Deputy Principal - Teaching and Learning to lead and manage the Middle School educational program Support the Deputy Principal - Student Life and Wellbeing to lead and manage the Middle School wellbeing, student leadership and student life programs Demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills Lead and review Middle School policies and programmes to ensure Pedare meets legislative and regulatory requirements Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to personal professional development In collaboration with the Manager People and Culture, Deputy Principal - Teaching and Learning and Head of Senior School, consult with the Principal about staff employment, induction, and deployment What we need: Proven school leadership experience commensurate with the role A current Teacher Registration Certificate in South Australia A current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) Certificate A current South Australian Working With Children Check (WWCC) All certificates and qualification(s) must be provided to the College prior to commencement of employment.
