Treatment Plant Assistant page is loaded## Treatment Plant Assistantremote type: On-Sitelocations: Warrnambool, VICtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: November 8, 2025 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: JR58217**How you will make contributions that matter**Join our team at the Allansford site as a Treatment Plant Assistant, where youll play a vital role in supporting environmental compliance and operational efficiency through the safe and effective operation of our wastewater treatment facility.This hands-on role involves monitoring and maintaining plant equipment, conducting laboratory testing, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the site meets EPA and internal standards.**Responsibilities*** Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems including pumps, valves, blowers, DAF, and reactors using Citect* Conduct sampling and laboratory testing (COD, BOD, pH, ammonia, etc.) and maintain accurate records* Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of plant equipment, working alongside trades and contractors* Monitor chemical dosing and odour management systems, adjusting as needed based on analytical results* Support environmental compliance and contribute to safety and housekeeping standards* Participate in improvement projects and provide input into operational and capital initiatives**About you*** Experience in manufacturing, utilities, or environmental operations is desirable* Science or environment-based qualification (degree or diploma) will be highly regarded* Actively promote and uphold health and safety practices across the site, with the confidence to represent the team as a Health & Safety Representative* Forklift licence is advantageous; we can support the right candidate in obtaining one* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety* Comfortable working in outdoor and physically active conditions* Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes* Proficiency with data entry and record keeping (Excel or similar)**Well support you with*** The opportunity to make contributions that matter, while being supported by a multinational, values-led company* On-the-job training and development opportunities* Product discounts and other employee benefitsClick Apply to submit your application.
