Shop Assistant UnitingCare Queensland Join to apply for the Shop Assistant role at UnitingCare Queensland. Salary: $33.18 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay) + commission program for high performers. Employment Term: Casual. Location: Acacia Ridge. As a Retail Assistant, youll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered, contributing to the meaningful work of Queenslands leading charity retail brand. Everyday our 120 stores across Queensland sell donated goods, giving preloved items a second life and bringing in profit to support our Crisis Support Line and suicide prevention services. Responsibilities Ensure product merchandising & store presentation is of a high standard Complete inventory management & stocktaking Assist customers with enquiries and sales Qualifications & Skills Passion for retail and a genuine desire to enjoy a fast paced, everchanging environment Passion for your local community and building relationships to understand local needs The ability to recognise potential and promote store growth Be selfmotivated and show initiative Have a positive attitude and good personal presentation Be able to provide first class customer service Be able to work independently as well as within a team Be available to work weekends Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and therefore may result in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.
