Workplace & Location - Work type: Onsite - Location: Cadia Valley, NSW (about 25km from Orange, 250km west of Sydney) - Permanent fulltime position based in Orange, NSW. No FIFO/DIDO. Key Responsibilities Repair and maintain fixed overhead crane components. Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and other electrical systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a secure work environment for all employees. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades for documentation and reporting purposes. Provide a timely response to emergency overhead crane breakdowns to minimize downtime and production disruptions. Work comfortably at heights using EWPs and scaffolding on both surface and underground situations, with safety as the top priority. Requirements Trade qualification and electrical license. Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings, preferably in mining operations with experience in overhead cranes and lifting equipment. Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams. HRWL (WP, DG, CB, RB, RI) and working at heights training highly regarded.
