Facilities Maintenance Officer - Building ServicesJoin to apply for the Facilities Maintenance Officer - Building Services role at Careers at Council.Location: Tamworth, New South WalesEmployment: Full-timeSalary range: Grade 6 - $1,113.60 - $1,205.00 plus super per week for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.Flexible Working Arrangements: Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.The OpportunityUndertake day to day manual labour tasks associated with facilities operations.Undertake general repairs/maintenance on building assets.Liaise with key stakeholders in various buildings and community facilities.ResponsibilitiesUndertake operational activities and functions as required by the Building Operations Officer and Building Services Technical Officer.Complete day to day repairs and maintenance to a high professional standard at Council properties and other facilities as required.Provide access and induct service contract staff to various Council Buildings.Undertake inspection and provide feedback in relation to all operational works associated with the maintenance of buildings and infrastructure associated with building assets.Qualifications & RequirementsDemonstrated experience in facilities/buildings maintenance, or extensive experience in a similar role.Current Drivers Licence.WH&S Construction and Induction Card.Work Safely at Heights.Preemployment ScreeningShortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.Contact & ApplicationFor a confidential discussion, please contact Greg Tapper, Technical Officer Building Services on 0408 128 650.Apply Now!
