The position includes all aspects of hospital pharmacy responsibilities including dispensing, sterile and nonsterile manufacturing (including cytotoxic products), ward stock supply, distributions, stock supply, reception and administration duties, prepacking and stock control. This position will include participation in the weekend and public holiday roster and may require work at other pharmacy departments within the LHD. Relevant experience working in a hospital pharmacy department in Australia or dispensing experience in an Australian community pharmacy, with appropriate qualifications as per the Health Employees State Award. Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1: no formal qualifications. Pharmacy Assistant Grade 2: holds a qualification in a relevant field up to the level of Certificate III in Community Pharmacy.
