Pharmacy Assistant Role 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Provide essential support to the Pharmacy department of Wollongong Hospital under the supervision of registered pharmacists to ensure the efficient and timely supply of medications for our patients. $61,889.52 - $67,463.24 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging | Permanent Full Time | Wollongong Hospital (TWH) | REQ616196 | Grade: Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1/2 | Applications close: 11 November 2025 The Pharmacy Assistant is a vital role within the Pharmacy team. The position includes all aspects of hospital pharmacy responsibilities including dispensing, sterile and nonsterile manufacturing (including cytotoxic products), ward stock supply, distributions, stock supply, reception and administration duties, prepacking and stock control. This position will include participation in the weekend and public holiday roster and may require work at other pharmacy departments within the LHD. Relevant experience working in a hospital pharmacy department in Australia or dispensing experience in an Australian community pharmacy, with appropriate qualifications as per the Health Employees State Award. Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1: no formal qualifications. Pharmacy Assistant Grade 2: holds a qualification in a relevant field up to the level of Certificate III in Community Pharmacy.
