The Role Make a difference in ourcommunity!An opportunity has arisen to work in a multidisciplinary anddynamic department, filling the role of Regulatory Legal ServicesCoordinator while the current officer is on maternity leave.If you are experienced at policy development and implementation,stakeholder engagement, and project management then this is theopportunity for you.The role is for a fixed term period of initially six months. During this period, you will be responsible for: Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of anorganizational wide Regulatory and Enforcement Framework Policy development in relation to regulatory enforcementservices including Body Worn Cameras and CCTV/Surveillance Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiativesrelated to regulatory services and the implementation andongoing management of Councils digital enforcement/complianceplatform, and the review and ongoing management Councils Community Local Law Provide strategic advice and direction across all regulatoryenforcement units in the organisation and provide business supportthrough direct involvement or lead in the development orpreparation and management of key projects of strategicimportance. About you Strong understanding and experience of legal processes,including application of the Local Law, regulatory services ina Local Government context, and court procedures andpractices Strong computer literacy and project management experiencein development and writing of strategic documents, polices,guidelines and plans Strong stakeholder engagement experience with the abilityto provide leadership and business support to teams across avariety of departments. Strong project management experience with the ability towork collaboratively with multiple stakeholders from differentprofessional backgrounds.
