Responsibilities Lead and inspire innovative, practicebased teaching in game design, 3D modelling and interactive media integrating cuttingedge technologies to create immersive learning experiences. Develop and coordinate industryrelevant, futurefocused curricula that prepare students for diverse careers in game design, immersive storytelling and interactive environments. Contribute to research and creative practice through the production of scholarly and professional outputs, including games, exhibitions and peerreviewed publications. Build and sustain meaningful partnerships with industry, creative communities and global networks to enhance learning opportunities, research collaborations and graduate employability. About the Candidate You are a creative academic or professional game designer with passion for teaching and innovation. Qualifications Doctoral qualification (or equivalent professional standing) in game design, game art, creative technology, immersive media or digital design. Demonstrated expertise with industrystandard tools and workflows, including Unreal Engine and/or Unity, 3D modelling and realtime production pipelines. Proven professional experience or published credits within the games or interactive media industries, with evidence of industryrecognised outcomes. Advanced digital fluency, including creative coding, HCI and use of AIassisted or GPUaccelerated platforms for highfidelity immersive design. Track record of innovative, learnercentred teaching that integrates technology, creativity and inclusivity. Developing research or creative practice with tangible outputs exhibitions, games, peerreviewed work or collaborative industry projects. Desirable Fellowship of AdvanceHE or a postgraduate qualification in higher education. Proven ability to collaborate with artists, developers and studios to deliver industrystandard creative outcomes. Research or creative expertise in advanced or interdisciplinary areas such as game studies, spatial computing, immersive environments or environmental storytelling.
