Claims Officer Inclusive Employment Australia Posted: 21/10/2025 Closing Date: 04/11/2025 Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Lismore Job Category: Community Services & Development We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Claims Officer based in Lismore. This role can be worked in full time or part time hours. The Children, Youth, Families and Employment stream is responsible for the delivery of Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) services. These employment services support people with a disability, injury or health condition to find and maintain employment. Job Description The Claims Officer provides essential quality checking, processing of claims and administrative support to a team of consultants. This role will track outcomes, process claims and monitor caseloads to ensure optimal performance of the program. Essential Skills and Experience Must have experience in Employment Services managing claims. Strong Financial acumen is a must! Proven ability of strong attention to detail and a process focused lens; and experience in administration, reporting, computer applications including MS Office Suite. Capacity to ensure data integrity and an understanding of internal auditing requirements. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and provide relevant and accurate information to stakeholders Demonstrated ability to identify and prioritise issues, problem solve, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve successful outcomes Ability to use technology to effectively undertake a wide range of administrative functions Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines Working experience of employment services operating systems used by Inclusive Employment Australia.
