About The Role We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Ophthalmology Clinical Nurse Specialist Theatre to join our clinical team on a full time basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on-call, weekends, public holidays or trauma. Duties And Responsibilities Lead the nursing team to deliver safe, evidencebased patient care Manage team rosters, workloads and delegation of tasks Support the GM / DON and NUM in quality activities and procurement Requires experienced Perioperative Ophthalmology Registered Scrub/ Scout Nurse Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery About You Solid experience as an Ophthalmology scrub/ scout Registered Nurse in a theatre / perioperative setting Post graduate qualifications in Nursing desirable Current AHPRA registration Advanced clinical and technical skills including problem solving skills A passion for education, mentoring and leadership Experience in the below specialties highly desirable A background in private day hospitals preferred Culture And Benefits Great work life balance Monday to Friday flexible roster, no oncall, weekends, public holidays or trauma 12 weeks paid parental leave for eligible employees Up to $2000 employee referral bonus Great discounts at a large variety of retailers including Coles & Woolworths Focus on health and wellbeing (inc.
