The passionate team at Cape Mentelle continue the winerys tradition of pioneering spirit and uncompromising commitment to excellence, producing varietals which have been historically recognised and awarded.Exclusively you, come as you areExciting opportunity in a prestigious wineryBeautiful location, close to town centre (and surfing beaches!)The Cellar Door Manager at Cape Mentelle will be responsible for promoting our brand and business by creating exceptional customer experiences for visitors, and building ongoing customer relationships.Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Demonstrate and share your passion for wine and the region, and your ability to craft memorable customer experiencesActively drive sales of the Cape Mentelle''s wine products in line with monthly and annual targetsManage, coach and develop the Cellar Door team to be motivated to deliver performance and service at the highest level, with a strong focus on team cultureBring key events to life, and promote and sellWine Club membershipsHandle and develop the customer and cellar door visitor databasesManage and record all stock movementsSupport our tourism strategy by liaising with tourism partners to plan group visits, cellar door tastingsOpening and closing duties of the venueTake active responsibility with health and safety policies to implement control strategies to eliminate or minimise identified risks.Now lets talk about you:Team management experience (including identify and hiring of talent)Wine Knowledge, and WSET level 2 or higherOffice Administration SkillsExtensive knowledge of the wine industryStrong customer focus, communication and leadership skillsStrong story telling ability, hosting guests and taking them on a journey through our brandAvailability to work weekends and public holidaysUnderstanding of Rezdy booking platform or willing to learnUnderstanding of With Wine of similar CRM platformsThe benefits are good too!An exclusive discount card for our ALH Hotels (pubs & accommodation), BWS, Dan Murphys and other Endeavour Group brands.
