Position Overview Senior HR Business Partner fixed term (6-month contract) at Yancoal Australia Ltd. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be part of a highly energetic and motivated HR team. About the Business Yancoal is Australias largest pure-play coal producer generating over $10billion in Foreign Direct Investment; owning, operating or participating in coal mines across NSW, Queensland and Western Australia. The company is a growing Tier1 operation based at Yancoal Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW), an opencut mine in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. Great culture and team environment Part of a growing Tier1 operation Based at Yancoal Mount Thorley Warkworth Job Tasks and Responsibilities Partner with operational leaders to deliver optimal people outcomes for our business. Coach and mentor HR team members to build team capability. Influence and drive cultural change initiatives across the operation. Manage, negotiate and influence positive IR outcomes. Lead and manage workplace investigations. Qualifications and Experience Relevant degree in Human Resource, Business, Law or related field. Minimum 5years HR generalist experience, preferably within mining and/or heavy industry. Extensive IR exposure with strong casemanagement experience. Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Ability to work strategically as well as deliver daytoday tasks in a demanding environment. Advanced computer literacy Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems.
