Salvos Boomerang is part of Australias first AIdriven textile sorting and decommissioning initiative, turning unwanted fabrics into valuable resources for the circular economy. ABOUT THE ROLE As a trusted advisor, the Senior People & Culture Partner (Boomerang) enables business outcomes for the Boomerang project by delivering expert advice and support to frontline leaders through the People Solutions Centre model. The role partners closely with project and operations leaders to build people capability, implement national P&C strategies, and foster a highperforming, collaborative culture. It also supports broader P&C initiatives as needed. The role is max term (12 months), full time located at our Queensland Divisional Headquarters in Spring hill. Key responsibilities: Business Partnerships: Act as a trusted advisor, partnering with senior leaders and managers to develop and deliver blended workforce solutions across organisational design, change, and employee relations to meet evolving business needs. Employee Relations and Compliance: Manage sensitive employee relations issues, including misconduct, grievances, and performance, ensuring legal and policy compliance. Develop Leadership Capability: Coach and mentor leaders and team members to build strong people management skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement. DataDriven Workforce Planning: Use workforce data, trends, and insights to guide decisionmaking and support evidencebased planning and change. Support Projects and Change: Contribute to the implementation of national People & Culture initiatives, ensuring consistent and timely delivery across the organisation. ABOUT YOU Our ideal candidate will have strong generalist experience and be confident advising senior leaders, skilled in navigating complex employee matters, and committed to building leadership capability across an organisation. Key Capabilities: A relevant degree qualification in HR, Business, or a related field. A sound understanding of employee relations and experience partnering with managers to resolve complex people management issues. WHY WORK FOR US?
