OverviewExperienced Podiatrist required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of allied health staff and cover a mixed caseload including high risk feet, diabetes assessment, and renal dialysis unit.Location and DurationLate December/early January for 8 weeks. North QLD location flights & accommodation provided.ResponsibilitiesHigh risk feet - deliver high level podiatry clinical skills, including assessment, treatment, examination, podiatry diagnosis and case management within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards for patients with chronic disease and high risk feet such as amputations, foot ulcerations, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease and gross foot deformities.Cover a mixed caseload in a hospital setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.Qualifications and ExperienceOne of the following: professional qualification as a Podiatrist with a minimum of four years experience in a relevant setting. Compensation and BenefitsLocum rates from $80-$85 per hour + superannuationFree accommodation availableOne way travel reimbursed up to $1000 including GSTTeam and CultureYou will be working amongst a young and dynamic multidisciplinary Allied Health team of approx. 45 clinicians. The team regularly plan weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events which the candidate would be welcome to join.
