The Western Australia Country Health Service invites applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Specialist - Remote. These pivotal roles involve operational management of our health centres in Walpole, Jerramungup, and Bremer Bay, where you will provide essential emergency care and healthcare services to the community. Ideal Candidate: Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience in emergency management and primary health care. Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a commitment to quality improvement and risk management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively in diverse settings. Demonstrated understanding of chronic disease management and primary healthcare principles. Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operational management of either Walpole, Jerramungup, and/or Bremer Bay Health Centres, ensuring high-quality, comprehensive primary health, chronic disease management, and health promotion. Provide emergency care support during clinic hours and be available on-call after hours for designated days. Coordinate and implement childhood immunisation services, and health promotion programs tailored to the community needs. Act as the central point of contact for emergency transport services and facilitate medical evacuations as per guidelines. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical data in collaboration with the Health Information Manager. Develop strategic relationships with local health and community personnel to foster collaborative health services. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and strategic planning for health service delivery.
