Reporting to the Team Leader Training Delivery, this role will be responsible for planning and delivering training programs as well as acting as the SME in design and validation of learning material across our pork farming operations.ResponsibilitiesPlanning, conducting and recording assessmentsProviding training, advice and guidance to students throughout their learning experienceDelivery of learning using a variety of methods including classroom, virtual, on-site and general discussionsIdentifying areas for improvement and advise recommending changes as requiredAct as the first point of contact for student supportSupporting students to ensure they understand what is expected of themIdentifying learning needs and working with site to determine possible solutionsProviding additional assistance where LLN/disability is identified and requires reasonable adjustmentCompleting regular validation of learning materials, as the subject matter expertReviewing and updating any inconsistencies within assessments and training materialsTracking progress of studentsPlanning future training sessions both classroom and virtualAssisting in scheduling training and assessment of students based on site requirementsChecking accuracy of paperwork and ensuring student requirements are metAbout youA highly motivated individual with a passion for the food industry and a passion for working with peoplePrevious experience in a pork farming operations in the areas of Handling, Housing, Feeding necessaryMust have or be willing to complete a current Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentExperience in carrying out routine health care and involved in moving of pigsNatural ability to support others and encourage learningStrong computer literacy skills including MS Word and OutlookDemonstrated ability to work both autonomously and within a team environmentAble to think critically and identify continuous improvement opportunitiesAbility to partner with site staff and support learning and development practicesPlease note: This role may require travel to various sites across the JBS Australia network.BenefitsOngoing investments in your learning and career developmentHeavily discounted meat productsRetail discounts with national partnersHealth insurance discounts on Bupa Health and Medibank PrivateWhat next?If youre passionate and want to be a part of the largest meat, pork and salmon manufacturer and producer in Australia, this opportunity may be for you.
