About the role The Trainee undertakes an employment-based training program to achieve a nationally recognised qualification with the Department of Training and Workforce Development. A variety of administration and office skills are learned on the job through a structured training plan to enable the Trainee to prepare for a career in the public sector. Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will be confident in greeting and assisting people from all parts of the community, as the first point of contact at reception. You will be self-motivated, and able to develop your initiative as you grow and learn in the role. You will be able to work as part of a team, with sound communications and interpersonal skills. Qualifications and requirements Aboriginality is essential for this position in accordance with section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act.
