The Fortify Health Care Services team is supportive, approachable and client-centred and also provides excellent staff training and development opportunities through our training academy. We provide care and support to participants with complex health needs, including mental health, challenging behaviours and highintensity support needs. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective nursing care, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). This is not agency work. Youll be supporting our participants in the comfort and familiarity of their homes. This role is about more than clinical careits about building relationships, uplifting others, and being a trusted presence in someones life.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to positive behaviour support plans & implementing documented strategies to best support positive outcomes for the participant.Assist with high intensity support needs: diabetes management and subcut injections.Deescalate and provide mental health support and manage & provide a safe & calm environment.Attend to personal cares, catheter flushes, medication administration and relevant highintensity support requirements.Support participants with daily supports including light domestic tasks, transport, meal preparation, companionship.Approach complex situations with calm, compassion, and professionalismyour presence can be a powerful source of reassurance.Use encouragement and motivation to support participants to independence and other personal goals.Work closely with your fellow team members to create a smooth, stable, and positive service environment as a team player. If a colleague needs help, lend a hand.Complete required documentation, including shift notes, incident reports and data collections via inhouse support charts, and contribute to the development, modification & evaluation of Participant Care Plans.Build strong rapport with participants and stakeholders.Attend to medical emergencies & provide first aid as required.Have a positive cando attitude, with the ability to focus on a holistic approach to support, encompassing a wellbeing and clinical lens within your support framework.BenefitsAbove award wagesPaid training and qualificationsWork with the same participants regularlyClinical supervision and supportTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLECurrent AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions (ENs)Relevant nursing qualificationsWork a rotating roster with a willingness to work night duty (if required) including inactive sleepoversLived or worked experience supporting participants with complex health, mental health and positive behaviour support plan implementationExcellent technological, communication and time management skillsFirst Aid and CPR certificateRelevant compliance checks, including NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue CardDriver''s license and own vehicleWHY JOIN US?At Fortify Health Group, we value our team members and the incredible work they do.
