The Fortify Health Care Services team is supportive, approachable and client-centred and also provides excellent staff training and development opportunities through our training academy. We provide care and support to participants with complex health needs, including mental health, challenging behaviours and highintensity support needs. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective nursing care, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). This is not agency work. Youll be supporting our participants in the comfort and familiarity of their homes. This role is about more than clinical careits about building relationships, uplifting others, and being a trusted presence in someones life.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to positive behaviour support plans & implementing documented strategies to best support positive outcomes for the participant.Assist with high intensity support needs: diabetes management and subcut injections.Deescalate and provide mental health support and manage & provide a safe & calm environment.Attend to personal cares, catheter flushes, medication administration and relevant highintensity support requirements.Support participants with daily supports including light domestic tasks, transport, meal preparation, companionship.Approach complex situations with calm, compassion, and professionalismyour presence can be a powerful source of reassurance.Use encouragement and motivation to support participants to independence and other personal goals.Work closely with your fellow team members to create a smooth, stable, and positive service environment as a team player.
