Availability to work weekends and across the Christmas Holiday period is required.What youll be doing:Caring for boarding and daycare pets feeding, grooming, enrichmentFrequent cleaning and upkeep of facility to maintain a high level of hygiene and safetyHealth checks and general animal husbandrySupervising dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safetyProviding exercise and enrichment to petsProviding friendly service to pet ownersCreating and distributing media content for our pet owners through videos and photosEnsuring accurute record keeping and entering information in our booking systemsSupporting your team to ensure the best outcomes for our furry guestsWhat were looking for:Previous experience working or volunteering with animals is preferredAvailability on weekends and school holiday periodsPhysically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors with pets of all sizesConfident communicators with a friendly, professional approach to customer serviceReliable, positive team players who enjoy fast-paced, hands-on workAbility to work independently and willing to ask for guidance when neededBe committed to working safely and following instructions, policies and procedures at all timesAvailable to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)Please note: This is a physically active role that requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, kneel, and handle animals (up to 50kg). You must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, and comfortably interact with pets, team members, and customers.
