Overview Hive is currently looking for: Event Volunteers - This role helps out with our fabulous range of events to ensure everything runs smoothly. You might be helping set-up for an industry seminar, pouring drinks at a gallery opening or taking happy snaps for a Hive event. Science Centre Volunteer - This role is based in the Tasmanian Science Centre where volunteers play an important role in assisting visitors of all ages to engage with the activities and exhibits. While valuable, you do not need to have any prior experience in science to excel in this role. The key skills are being friendly, welcoming and interested in learning and sharing knowledge. What were looking for Active (Hive is a 3-story building with lots of stairs and all volunteer positions are hands on roles). Flexible (Each day at Hive is different). Resilient with a Growth Mindset (Hive is still young, we are learning new things every day). Interested in learning and sharing knowledge. Happy to assist with groups and activities. A confident communicator. Hive Volunteer roles are on site, therefore applicants need to be able to travel to Ulverstone. Application process On application potential volunteers will be emailed an Expression of Interest Form to fill in and return to Hive, followed by an interview.
