With stunning views out to the impossibly blue waters of the Whitsundays, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island.The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.Job DescriptionMaintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and related areasWash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans by hand and using dishwashing equipmentEnsure all kitchen equipment and applicances are properly cleaned and sanitizedStore cleaned equipment and utensils in designated storage areasFollow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all timeColloaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and a positive work environmentReport any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager or supervisorThis role is a live on island position.Desired Skills and ExperiencePrevious expereince in a similar role preferredBasic understanding of kitchen equipment and utensilsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamPhyscial stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objectsWillingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff #J-18808-Ljbffr
