Ready to bring your best?How you will make contributions that matterWe have an exciting opportunity for someone who is wanting to start their career as a Fitting & Turning / Maintenance tradesperson at our Specialty Cheese facility in Burnie, Tasmania.We are seeking a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training and a Certificate III Engineering-Mechanical Trade.Your Responsibilities will include:Proactive, preventative, and reactive maintenance to achieve optimal operational requirements whilst maintaining safe work practices.Small plant and machine upgrades.Mechanical machining & fitting.Welding including TIG for stainless steel.Maintain a clean workplace.Working through mandatory and elective units to achieve Certificate III Engineering-Mechanical Trade.About youHigher School Certificate (minimum) or other relevant qualification, with an aptitude for technical/mechanical work.Practical trade skills and/or relevant pre-apprenticeship.Able to work as part of a team, trustworthy and has a good work ethic.A quick learner with good computer skills.Strong ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety.Well support you withThe opportunity to make contributions that matter, while being supported by a multinational, values-led companyOn-the-job training and development opportunitiesProduct discounts and other employee benefitsClick Apply to submit your application.
