Australia''s peak industry body for Sports Turf Management Qualified Greenkeeper / 3rd or 4th Year Sports Turf Apprentice This position may also be suitable for a 3rd or 4th Year Sports Turf Management Apprentice seeking to further develop their skills and experience within a professional and supportive environment. Position Overview Reporting directly to the Course Superintendent, the successful applicant will assist in maintaining and presenting the golf course and associated facilities to the highest possible standard. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing quality and improvement of one of Perths leading golf courses. Key Responsibilities Undertake all aspects of golf course and turf maintenance, including mowing, irrigation, renovation, and bunker presentation. Operate and maintain a range of turf maintenance machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in the implementation of course improvement and construction projects. Monitor turf health and contribute to pest, weed, and disease management programs. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Club policies, safety standards, and environmental best practices. Qualifications and Experience The successful applicant will possess: A Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent qualification), or currently be undertaking the qualification as a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice. Demonstrated experience in golf course or sports turf maintenance. A sound understanding of turf management principles and irrigation systems. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive work ethic. Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Chemical application and first aid qualifications (or the willingness to obtain these). The Club Offers A supportive and professional working environment.
