Using smart tools like Optibus and Trapeze, youll design driver duties, build rosters and make sure our services meet the needs of our clients and our people.Youll be right at the heart of our operation, working with colleagues across Operations, Engineering and Client Services to deliver world-class scheduling.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreating driver duties and rosters using Optibus and actively managing allocationsIncorporating and driving utilisation and management of all changes through our driver allocation system, TrapezeManaging monthly timetable changes and implementing client requests in a timely mannerAttending client meetings and timetable reviews as an SPS representativeUsing data and feedback to continuously improve driver duties and allocationsProducing accurate operational reports and KPI insightsCollaborating with First Bus and Optibus to support innovation and updatesBecoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in telematic and company systems including DAS, Vtech, uTrack and MoovManage, helping develop system knowledge across the team through training and workshopsSupporting operational tools that manage fleet movements in real timeProactively identifying and resolving daily operational challenges alongside Operations and EngineeringQualifications & SkillsEssentialFull UK Driving LicenceStrong Health and Safety knowledgeUnderstand Legal Driving HoursStrong IT skills and confidence with MS OfficeFlexible and adaptable in a 24/7 operationProactive problem-solver with a positive attitudeThrive in a fast-paced, detail-focused environmentDesirablePCV Licence / CPC (training can be provided)System UtilisationProject ManagementWhy Join Us?Be at the core of a major UK transport operationOpportunities for training, development and progressionWork with industry-leading systems and technologySupportive team culture with real ownership and impactAccess to employee rewards, travel benefits and moreSafety, Service & ExcellenceAt SPS, safety and customer service are non-negotiable.
