We are seeking Security / Access Control Officers to support Defence Base Security Services operations across the region.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPhysical Access Control DutiesProvide strong customer service solutions to visitors, contractors and clientsGatehouse dutiesProactively monitor CCTV and Access Control SystemsConduct building patrols to identify and mitigate security and safety risksIdentify and report hazards and building faults for rectificationProvide support to tenants and facilitiesManage contractors and deliveries through dock managementRespond to emergency situationsContractor management dutiesAd-hoc duties as requiredThis role is suitable for individuals with backgrounds in ADF, security, policing, prisons or customer service seeking a dynamic and rewarding opportunity.Who We Are Looking ForAvailable to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends (24/7 availability)4/4 Rosters (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) and other rosters, including FIFO Perth on a 7 days on/7 days off basisDemonstrate excellent customer service skillsTake pride in presentation and bearingAdaptable to a changing environmentAble to write detailed incident reports and recall critical informationLateral thinker and problem solver; able to resolve issuesUnderstand chain of command and escalation processesProvide detailed and factual security incident and HSE hazard reports (electronic or paper)Sound basic IT skills using a range of softwareMinimum RequirementsMust be an Australian CitizenCurrent valid WA Security LicenceCurrent and valid WA Driver''s LicenceCurrent First Aid CertificateDesirableADF veterans encouraged to apply; security clearances from other Commonwealth agencies can be transferredMaster Licence WA SA60888 #J-18808-Ljbffr
