OverviewVintage Winemaker 2026 Qualia Wine ServicesQualia Wine Services is a large commercial winery with an annual crush capacity of over 50,000 tonnes. It is situated in Irymple, near Mildura. Mildura is a thriving rural city with a population of approximately 50,000, located in north-west Victoria on the banks of the Murray River. The area offers a relaxed lifestyle with facilities including restaurants, shopping, fitness and leisure, and cultural programs through Mildura Arts. ResponsibilitiesWork 8-12 hours per day, 6 days per week on varying shifts (as required during vintage).Collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly.Apply general winemaking principles and practices, with a preference for a tertiary qualification in oenology.Fulfill duties typical of a vintage winemaker role during the 2025 vintage period (early to mid January for approximately 812 weeks). QualificationsUnderstanding and knowledge of general winemaking principles and practices; tertiary qualification in oenology preferred.Previous vintage experience in a winemaker role.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.On-site accommodation is available for successful candidates.
