Everything we do is dedicated to enabling, celebrating and supporting older Australians to live and age positively.About the opportunityThe Assistant Village Manager will support our Menora Gardens Village Operations on a part-time basis working 3 or 4 days a week (Monday to Wednesday 9am - 5pm OR Monday to Thursday 9am - 3pm).The role will be responsible for assisting the Retirement Village Manager in implementing operational plans and managing day-to-day activities in the Village. You will ensure residents, their guests and visitors to the village enjoy a 5-star hotel style experience that is memorable and positive.Key activities:Reception and administrative tasksProvide assistance to residents regarding use of facilities, equipment and building matters.Assisting in the coordination of initiatives, resident activities and events to create an engaged and active community lifestyle. Preparing village newsletter, activities calendar and other communicationsAssist the village manager in managing the village to achieve optimum performance.Provide financial administrative support, calendar management, preparation of agenda and minutes/actions.Support strategies in relation sales and marketing including; ensuring marking collateral is up to date and generating regular sales reports.Provide outstanding, timely and insightful service to residents and their guests ensuring strong focus on achieving and maintaining high levels of satisfaction and experience.We would love to hear from you if you haveGenuine passion for interacting with older peopleDemonstrated experience in customer engagement and satisfactionExperience in a front-line customer facing role within the retirement living, business, hospitality, finance, property management, health or related sectors;Certificate III or IV in Hospitality, Hotel, Community Services or Administration or the equivalent knowledge, skills and experienceStrong written and verbal communication skills using MS OfficeComply with the Industry Code of ConductImportantly, you will mirror our values of Be Kind; Listen; Be Curious; Always safe; and Always together in all aspects of your work.Our BenefitsOur culture is both supportive and collaborative where you can make your role your own.
