Our business aims to reliably and efficiently process pigs and pork products to the highest levels of welfare, quality and customer satisfaction, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality and People.Main duties will include, but are not limited to:Ability to act with urgency when machinery fault or breakdown occursWork in a methodical manner to ensure production runs smoothly using good observation and problem-solving methodologiesAbility to identify and solve root causes to prevent further re-occurrencesComplete any preventative maintenance tasks given in a timely manner and to a high standardEnsure clear handover of work performed between the maintenance team and production teams so that all safety and food quality standards are well managedMust be able to work flexible hours, be on call and able to work in a rotating rosterHold relevant trade qualifications and current licensesDemonstrated ability to work as part of a growing and interdependent team, working collaboratively with other departmentKnowledge of WH&S practices and legislationNeed to be reliable & punctual with work attendanceWhat were looking forSwickers has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team. As a key member you will have:Demonstrated experience in the Electrical Industry-Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but on the job training will be available.Trade Certificate 3 Electrotechnology Electrician as a minimum.Must be able work shift work and 12-hour rosters. In addition, there may also be occasions where after-hours work is required to repair breakdowns.This role is on paid on wages (hourly rate) at an average of 48 hours per week.
