OverviewSenior Administration Officer (Professional Practice Office), School of Nursing and Midwifery, Fremantle Campus. Full-time opportunity, continuing contract.About the universityThe University of Notre Dame Australia is a private Catholic University with over 1,000 permanent staff providing an exceptional educational experience to over 12,000 students across our Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses, as well as clinical schools in Victoria and New South Wales.About the roleThe Senior Administration Officer provides effective and efficient administrative support to the School of Nursing and Midwifery, working in collaboration with academic and professional staff to ensure the smooth operation of the School. Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, this position is responsible for supervising the administrative team and overseeing the administrative functions within the school.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee administrative processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with university policies.Lead and mentor administrative staff, oversee task delegation, and support professional development to maintain high service standards.Utilise the Universitys enterprise systems to coordinate and collaborate with the Head of School and Academic staff to ensure efficient timetabling and scheduling for the teaching function.Organisation of events including orientations and training sessions, ensuring smooth execution and logistics.Identify and implement enhancements in school processes and policies, aligning with best practices and university objectives.Provide effective and efficient administrative support and assist the School Manager and Administration Coordinator in supervising the administrative function within the Schools administration team.Compiling and assisting with reports, typing of correspondences, submissions, statistical summaries and data sets, and other material as required.Assisting the Head of School and/or their delegate with the management and review of policies, procedures, guidelines and forms.
