Job Description

The Role The National Account Manager will be pivotal in driving revenue growth for Sanitarium in our growth and emerging Grocery customers, fostering and developing new opportunities. This growth will be achieved through an unwavering commitment to outstanding customer service. Success in this role requires advancing corporate, brand, and category objectives while managing trade budgets effectively. Key Responsibilities Implement strategies to achieve annual revenue and category targets, while driving retailer business plans and managing trade relationships to support overall business objectives. Oversee Trade Spend and Operations budgets by ensuring efficient processes and maintaining accurate reporting for all trade fund activities. Collaborate closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure accurate forecasting and coordinate with VRP to improve supply chain efficiencies. Foster a positive and supportive team culture that aligns with Sanitariums values, while maintaining strong working relationships with the Field Sales Team. Monitor market and competitive activity, provide strategic insights, and work with Business Managers and peers to optimise account plans. Strive for high performance ratings by coordinating promotional and media plans and ensuring effective trade spend management through collaboration with internal stakeholders. Skills and Competencies Demonstrate proficiency in managing the financial aspects of the Trade Spend model to maximise budget efficiency and drive revenue growth. Apply the One Number model effectively to support accurate demand planning and ensure alignment with corporate targets. Exhibit strong customer engagement and influencing skills through the use of varied presentation formats, successfully connecting with diverse audiences. Knowledge/Experience Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Finance. Minimum of two years of experience in a National Account Role or equivalent business development roles. Proven expertise in developing and executing strategic retail category plans. Strong understanding and commitment to compliance with all relevant legislation, including ACCC regulations applicable to Sanitarium Health Food Company. Knowledge of FMCG and the Independent Grocery market. Proficient in overseeing the financial dimensions of the Trade Spend model to maximise budget efficiency and support revenue growth. Skilled in applying the One Number model to ensure accurate demand planning and alignment with corporate targets. Demonstrated expertise in influencing and engaging customers through varied presentation formats, successfully connecting with diverse audiences. What do we offer?
