You will lead a dedicated team driving continuous improvement across governance, work health and safety, integrity, and complaint resolution. Responsibilities Lead the Governance, Integrity and Ethics team and drive continuous improvement across governance, work health and safety, integrity, and complaint resolution. Champion transparency, accountability and fairness in Council operations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to uphold high probity and ethical standards. Provide investigation leadership, including planning, conducting investigations, and ensuring procedural fairness in complaints resolution. What You Will Need To Succeed Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field or significant relevant experience Extensive relevant experience in a similar field Experience in leading and inspiring teams, planning and conducting investigations, including investigation techniques and procedural fairness Ability to gather information and evidence, critically analyse information and exercise sound judgement to solve complex problems Advocate for the highest standards of ethical and professional behaviour Excellent written and oral communications skills with stakeholders on sensitive matters Experience building strong trusting relationships with internal and external customers and collaborating with diverse stakeholders Class C Drivers Licence Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain Desirable Requirements Relevant post-graduate qualifications Knowledge of local government ethics and probity issues Knowledge of relevant legislation (local government policy and practice, Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994, ICAC Act 1988) What We Can Offer You Located on Sydneys southern fringe, Wollondilly Shire Council spans 2,560 km of natural bushland, scenic waterways, and vibrant, welcoming communities.
