Temporary until 30 June 2030, part-time (31.5 hours per week) opportunity Office location is Albury or another negotiated location in South West NSW, hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $144,018 to $158,718 (pro-rata) + super About the role Our South West Ecosystems & Threatened Species team within the Regional Delivery division is seeking to appoint a Team Leader to support and oversee the delivery of priority threatened species projects in south western NSW. About you To be successful, you will need high-level technical expertise and experience in threatened species conservation. Experience leading complex threatened avian or flora projects would be advantageous. You will also need experience in leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver measurable biodiversity conservation outcomes on time and within budget. You will ensure successful delivery of programs and projects by providing strategic direction, managing resources, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. A degree in a relevant ecological or environmental science discipline. Experience in delivering complex biodiversity conservation projects or programs. About DCCEEW DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate, including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations. DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state, to support the environment, communities and industry.
