About the Role The City of Wanneroo is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk and Assurance Administration Officer to join our Governance and Legal team within the Office of the CEO. In this important role, youll provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to the Risk and Assurance team, ensuring that governance and compliance functions run smoothly and efficiently. You will manage a range of administrative activities, from maintaining records and databases to assisting with financial processes, meetings, and correspondence, helping to deliver excellent outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide timely and accurate administrative support to the Risk and Assurance team. Assist with document processing, meeting coordination, diary management, and data entry. Support financial transactions and purchasing processes to meet operational requirements. Maintain registers, databases, and filing systems in line with governance and legislative requirements. Manage and respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance administrative processes. Ensure compliance with the Citys governance, safety, and administrative frameworks. About You You are an organised and adaptable professional who enjoys supporting others, balancing priorities, and ensuring accuracy in all that you do. You bring a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative attitude to your work. To be successful in this role, youll have: Experience in administrative and financial support roles. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Intermediate computing and data entry skills, with proficiency in MS Office and information systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
