Southampton - to cover projects in the South. RG Setsquare Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a contracts manager for our client based in Southampton. The role will involve managing their maintenance contracts in the south. Our employee owned client provides affordable, quality property maintenance service to a range of both public and private sector clients managing all types of buildings of various construction and use. They have strategically located branches throughout the UK, providing a local presence throughout the regions in which they work, with all the assurance and resource of a business structure. Service they provide include: Internal and external painting and decorating Fire protective coatings and associated fire upgrade works Wallpaper hanging and wallcoverings Building repairs Carpentry and joinery Fascia, cladding and rainwater goods renewal Kitchen and bathroom replacement Pitched and flat roof replacement Window and door replacement Mechanical and electrical services Property refurbishment Duties Manage the selection and formation of the workforce (incl. sub-contractors) as determined by individual contracts. Manage workforce, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of individual contracts. Control contract progress, focusing on completion within time frames and budget. Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time. Attend monthly client meetings to review performance and future planning of works. Assist in the presentation of the contract brief to the client.
