We have an opportunity within our Business Capability team to drive the achievement of the program of works within our endorsed Digital and Technology Roadmap. As a natural collaborator you will manage risks and ensure a customer centric approach to managing our diverse stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDelivery of projects within the scope, time, cost, and quality parameters.Maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Preparing detailed business cases.Presenting to the project board, and Executive Leadership Team.Driving a culture of sustainable improvement, identifying issues, and improvement monitoring.Mitigating project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions.Managing vendor relationships and contracts.ABOUT YOUTo be successful for this role you''ll bring:Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field with experience, or lesser qualifications with extensive experience in technology projects and/or change management.Experience in managing and delivering projects.Highly developed time management skills and delivering projects within scope.Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict and resolution skills.Excellent research, investigative, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities with strong attention to detail.Experience in contract management, budgets, tender evaluation.A customer focused mindset with the ability to deliver outcome-based partnerships.ABOUT USSouth Gippsland Shire Council offers a friendly and professional workplace with values based leadership.
