We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join a dedicated People and Safety team supporting more than 3,500 staff across 45 vibrant Catholic school communities.As part of a well-respected Catholic education organisation, youll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services while contributing to an environment that fosters care, inclusion, and excellence in education.About the RoleReporting to the Team Leader, Payroll, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of payroll transactions using EmpowerHR, ensuring compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and organisational policies. Youll work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency while contributing to the ongoing improvement of payroll processes.Processing payroll data accurately and efficiently using EmpowerHR softwareApplying relevant award and enterprise agreement knowledgeEnsuring compliance with organisational policies and employment legislationCollaborating with HR, Recruitment, and Finance teams to resolve payroll queriesSupporting the successful migration and testing of data for system enhancementsContributing to continuous improvement initiatives and project deliverablesAbout YouYoure a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, values-based environment.
